The Arbitration School: Emergency Arbitrator Panel
Panel on Emergency Arbitrator of Arbitration School organised by Marmara University Faculty of Law International Private Law Department and the Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC), was held as live broadcast on Arbitration School’s Youtube Channel on May 13, 2020.
Ece Uyanık, Research Associate at Kadir Has University Faculty of Law and Ayca Bengü Köksal, Attorney at Erdem & Erdem were the speakers of the Panel. Besides Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem, Founder & Senior Partner of Erdem & Erdem and Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak, Vice Chancellor of İbni Haldun University contributed to the Panel with their valuable comments.
The panel addressed the emergency arbitrator in general, institutional rules of arbitration regarding the emergency arbitrator, the emergency arbitrator orders and the evaluation principles as well as the legal status of the emergency arbitrator and its order, and the problems regarding the enforceability thereof.You may see the video of the livecast below.
