CyberArb All Hands Series: Adapting International Arbitration to New Technologies

CyberArb, an (non-profit) initiative with a multidisciplinary and international legal & tech team at the intersection between cybersecurity and international arbitration/ADR started a new internal initiative in 2023. CyberArb All Hands, sessions for their volunteers to e-meet every month and plan, brainstorm, and share their insights and experience are organised by the Team Building team at CyberArb.

Erdem & Erdem Senior Assocociate and CyberArb team’s co-chair Tilbe Birengel moderated All Hands session featuring a very special guest: ArbTech founder and CyberArb mentor Sophie Nappert. Sophie Nappert elaborated on a number of cutting-edge questions posed by Tilbe Birengel and other CyberArb participating members about smart contracts, arbitrability, blockchain disputes and chatGPT.

Participants shared their thoughts on the current developments in the use of smartcontracts for dispute resolution purposes, the fate of arbitration clause in cryptocurrency platforms T&Cs, and how to use chatGPT in an efficient manner, among others.
