Improvement of the Investment Climate and Arbitration
The conference on “Improvement of the Investment Environment and Arbitration”, organized in cooperation with Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, Istanbul Arbitration Center and the International Investors Association, was held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Galatasaray University Aydın Doğan Conference Hall in order to support talented and successful students who qualify for the GSU Faculty of Law but do not apply to GSU due to financial reasons.
Our Founder and Senior Partner, Prof. Dr. Ercüment Erdem, participated as a speaker in the panel titled “Investment Environment and Arbitration in the Banking Finance Sector,” moderated by Mrs. Günay Günver, Legal Advisor of the Banks Association of Turkiye. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ercüment Erdem addressed the arbitrations in which the banks are involved as well as the reasons the banks not adequately incorporating arbitration in their contracts, and he discussed how these issues could be resolved.
Business professionals and lawyers assembled in sector-focused panels to discuss the current state of the investment environment, future expectations, legal issues and solutions, as well as the use of arbitration in this context.
