Webinar: Understanding Competition Law and Current Developments in Competition Law
Mert Karamustafaoğlu, one of Erdem & Erdem’s Partner and Competition & Compliance Leader gave a training on an online event titled " Understanding Competition Law and Current Developments in Competition Law" organized by Aegean Exporters' Associations on Thursday, November 18th. Citing the purpose and basic principles of competition law, the behaviors prohibited by the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition and the latest changes in this law, Karamustafaoğlu evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of the commitment and settlement mechanism.
Karamustafaoğlu, who also gave information about the Competition Authority's on-site inspection method and the examination of digital data, also shared his comments on the Competition Authority's recent inspections of chain markets and retail sector with the participants.
