Practical Competition Law Seminars
Since 2006, the Institute of Social Sciences at Istanbul Bilgi University, offers the Practical Competition Law Seminars within the framework of Law Master’s program. This year, the program which aims to provide information on Turkish and comparative competition law practice and shed light on current problems and debates for participants, was held between 13th February and 9th May 2020.
From Erdem & Erdem, Partner and Competition and Compliance Leader Mert Karamustafaoğlu and Senior Associate Ecem Süsoy Uygun were the guests of the webinar published by the Competition Law and Policy Implementation and Research Center’s YouTube Channel on 30th April 2020. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kerem Cem Sanlı moderated the webinar “New Horizons in Competition Law; Facebook Decision of The Germany’s Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt)”, and the most controversial decision of the agenda in Germany: Facebook Decision - Audit of Abuse of Dominance by Using Personal Data was discussed in detail.
