Ecem Süsoy Uygun, Managing Associate at Erdem & Erdem, and Doğukan Kalınoğlu from the University of Zurich delivered a presentation titled "Sustainability Agreements and the Exemption Regime in Comparative Competition Law" on Thursday, March 6, at the Moot Courtroom of Istanbul Bilgi University’s Santral Istanbul Campus, as part of the Applied Competition Law Seminars under the Bilgi University Competition Law Certificate Program.

In their presentation, Ecem Süsoy Uygun and Doğukan Kalınoğlu examined sustainability agreements and the exemption regime in competition law from a comparative perspective. They assessed the legal developments in various jurisdictions driven by the growing awareness of climate change and analyzed the implications of collaborations and agreements entered into by undertakings to achieve sustainability objectives within the framework of competition law. They examined the guidelines issued within the EU in light of decisions from both domestic and foreign competition authorities.
