Event: “Competition Law Agenda for Companies in 2026: Insights from 2025”
Erdem & Erdem hosted the event titled “Competition Law Agenda for Companies in 2026: Insights from 2025” at our Istanbul office on 18 February 2026.
The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by our Founder and Senior Partner Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem. During the program, our Managing Associates Ecem Süsoy Uygun and Anıl Acar provided an in-depth assessment of the competition law landscape shaped by the Competition Board’s decisions, enforcement priorities and sanctioning approach throughout 2025, together with key compliance considerations for companies in 2026.
We were also pleased to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ayata, Senior Expert at the Istanbul Policy Center and Jean Monnet Chair Holder, as guest speaker, who shared valuable academic insights on current and expected developments in competition law.
The event covered, among others, the following topics:

Bringing together recent regulatory developments and practical enforcement trends, the event offered a comprehensive overview of evolving competition law risks and proactive compliance strategies for companies.
The program concluded with an interactive Q&A session with participants enabled an interactive information sharing platform with regard to the current trends on competition law.
