The Competition Law and Practices Certificate Program
The Competition Law and Practices Certificate Program was held by Istanbul Ticaret University between April 3rd and June 5th. The program consisted of three-hour 16 modules whose participants were lawyers, legal interns, students that are interested in competition law and the professionals that are dealing with the rules of competition law. Mert Karamustafaoğlu, Partner & Competition and Compliance Leader at Erdem & Erdem, presented a module titled “Competition Law Practices in Finance Sector”.
In his presentation, Mert Karamustafaoğlu, examined the concept of information exchange in competition law and discussed the limitations that businesses in different sectors, especially the finance sector, should have in information exchange with their competitors. Karamustafaoğlu also examined the recent decisions regarding the financial sector in terms of the European Union and Turkey.
