Young IFA Seminar
The Young IFA Seminar, organized by the International Fiscal Association (IFA Turkey) - Young IFA and coordinated by Canan Doksat, Partner and Tax Leader at Erdem & Erdem and Chair of YIN Türkiye, took place at Erdem & Erdem’s İstanbul Office on Friday, December 15, 2023. Following the opening speeches, young tax lawyers made their presentations under the moderation of Mr. Erdal Çalıkoğlu and Mr. Feridun Güngör.
During the event, following presentations were made; Görkem Haraçcı Salar from BASEAK, "Can a sledgehammer be used to crack a nut? The Principle of Proportionality in the light of the recent Constitutional Court decisions regarding property rights", Barış Erdemir from EY-KS Attorney Partnership, "Comparison of the Justification of the Constitutional Court Decision on Additional MVT and the Allegations of Unconstitutionality Regarding Additional Tax" and Beyza Günsel Sürücü from Erdem & Erdem, "Waiting for Godot: Evaluations on the Exclusion of Immovables from the Scope of Article 19 of the CTL".
