Workshop:Termination of Agency Agreements and Key Considerations in Compensation Claims
As Erdem & Erdem, we hosted a workshop titled "Termination of Agency Agreements and Key Considerations in Compensation Claims" on Friday, February 7, 2024, at our Istanbul office.
Focusing on common challenges encountered in practice, the workshop commenced with Dr. Rifat Cankat’s presentation, in which he provided insights into the drafting of agency agreements, their termination, and the legal consequences thereof. Following this, our Partner and Mediator Alper Uzun delivered a speech on the Court of Cassation’s approach to agency agreements and their termination.
During the workshop, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the critical aspects and procedural requirements of terminating agency agreements, the potential repercussions of improper termination, and compensation claims arising from such terminations.
Additionally, we elaborated on legal and practical guidelines to ensure the most effective management of this process.
