H. Murat Develioglu Appointed as Professor

We are proud to announce that H. Murat Develioglu, Of Counsel of Erdem & Erdem, received his professorship. H. Murat Develioğlu was appointed as professor of law by the votes of Galatasaray University Board of Directors in early March of 2018.

Prof. Develioğlu has been lecturing at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law since 2000 and he is currently the Head of the Faculty of Civil Law.

Prof. Develioğlu, a frequently published scholar, recently published his new book “Protection of Personal Data Law in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation in Comparison with the Protection of Personal Data Act No. 6698” in collaboration with renown Swiss lawyers Dr. Pierre Tercier and Prof. Dr. Pascal Pichonnaz.

Prof. Develioğlu who has been advising clients and participating in contract negotiations in Erdem & Erdem since 2013, has an active role in advising clients on strategic business decisions and designing legal structures.

Prof. Develioğlu’s focus of concentration is in the areas of Law of Obligations, Concention on International Sale of Goods (CISG), Family Law, Inheritance Law, Contract Law, Property Law and Warranty Law.  Prof. Develioğlu, an expert on complex collateral transactions and bartering, also concentrates on project finance including public private partnerships.
