Our Tax Leader Canan Doksat has been promoted as Partner

We are proud to announce that Canan Doksat has been promoted as Partner, as of January 1, 2023.

Canan Doksat specializes in tax and commercial law and provides tax & legal advisory services on restructuring projects such as merger, spin-off, company type amendment, capital in kind contribution, asset deals and determination of alternative models in scope of tax law.

Canan Doksat conducts technical bankruptcy / insolvency assessments and determines the most appropriate tax & legal alternatives that can be applied for the elimination of the referred financial situation in question. She provides tax advisory services to clients in general assembly meetings, amendments to the articles of association, capital increase and decrease.

She also manages the evaluation of the tax audit process and report, the pre-assessment and post-assessment reconciliation procedures and the individual application procedure before the Constitutional Court.

Doksat, who is also competent in customs legislation, follows the reconciliation and appeal processes against the customs duties and fines before the relevant customs authorities. She has extensive experience in managing the entire customs litigation process.
