As Erdem & Erdem, we hosted a workshop titled “Managing Risk in M&A Transactions: Resolving Disputes Through Representation & Warranty Insurance and Arbitration” on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at our Istanbul office.
During the session, Tuna Çolgar, Partner and Head of Corporate and M&A at Erdem & Erdem, Managing Associate Melissa Balıkçı Sezen, and Senior Associate Rüştü Mert Kaşka provided insights into the key risks encountered in M&A transactions, the function of representation & warranty insurance, and current arbitration practices in resolving related disputes arising out of M&A transactions.
Participants discussed how representation & warranty insurance contributes to building trust between parties and enhancing predictability throughout M&A processes. The role of arbitration in ensuring efficient and effective resolution of disputes was also thoroughly examined.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to exchange views and practical experiences.
