Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC) Established

The Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC), which was established to resolve energy and infrastructure disputes has started operating as of 21 October 2020. With its feature of being a sectoral arbitration center, EDAC aims to be an alternative dispute resolution platform in the resolution of disputes between companies operating mainly in Central Asia, Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa regions.

EDAC consists of the Secretariat, Board of Directors, National Board, International Board, Consultants and Arbitrators from different jurisdictions who have significant expertise in the energy sector. Erdem & Erdem’s Partner and Competition & Compliance Leader Mert Karamustafaoğlu and Senior Associate Ecem Süsoy Uygun are listed under the EDAC arbitrator list.
