Announcement on the Update of Monetary Thresholds Under the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce
With the announcement (Announcement) published by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade, the monetary thresholds under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce Law) have been increased.
- Thresholds have been established to determine the obligations that electronic commerce intermediary service providers (ETAHS) and electronic commerce service providers (ETHS) must comply with under the E-Commerce Law.
- By Additional Article 2(10) and Additional Article 4(6) of the E-Commerce Law, these monetary thresholds must be increased for 2025.
- The annual change in electronic commerce volume, which serves as the basis for determining the 2025 threshold values (total net transaction volume of ETAHS and ETHS), has been realized as 62.29%.
