Borsa Istanbul A.Ş. Updated Listing Thresholds
Borsa Istanbul A.Ş. (Borsa İstanbul) amended the Listing Directive on 31.12.2024.
With the amendments made on 31.12.2024, the minimum market values of shares offered to the public, traded on the BIST Stars, BIST Main, and BIST SubMarket are as follows:
- On the BIST Stars, the minimum market value is increased from TRY 1,000,000,000 to TRY 2,000,000,000,
- On the BIST Main, the minimum market value is increased from TRY 250,000,000 to TRY 500,000,000,
- On the BIST SubMarket, the minimum market value is increased from TRY 100,000,000 to TRY 200,000,000.
Meanwhile, the maximum market value of the publicly offered shares to be listed on the BIST SubMarket is increased from TRY 250,000,000 to TRY 500,000,000, and on the BIST Main from TRY 1,000,000,000 to TRY 2,000,000,000.
Under the provision added by the amendment, if the market value of the shares offered to the public is above TRY 6,000,000,000,000 and the ratio of the nominal value of the shares to the capital is greater than 6%, the minimum 10% condition of the nominal value of the shares offered to the public to the capital will not be required.
In BIST Stars listing applications, for companies that do not meet the annual profit and/or equity/capital ratio requirements, provided that they meet the other conditions set for the BIST Stars as per the Listing Directive, the minimum market value of the shares offered to the public must be TRY 4,000,000,000 for the company to be listed on BIST Stars.
