Biography
Mert Kaan Gümüş works as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department of Erdem & Erdem Attorney Partnership. Working especially in the fields of commercial law, contract law, and enforcement and bankruptcy law, Mert Kaan Gümüş provides consultancy to local and foreign clients regarding disputes arising in various fields of law, participates in the handling of disputes, represents clients before courts, and prepares legal reviews and opinions.
In addition to disputes arising from commercial and contract law, Mert Kaan Gümüş also works in the fields of labor law and administrative law.
Mert Kaan Gümüş graduated from Koç University Faculty of Law.

- Taking an active role in and following up the annulment of general assembly resolutions lawsuit filed against one of Türkiye’s leading publicly listed companies.
- Following up annulment of general assembly resolutions lawsuits on behalf of a shareholder of a foreign-invested company.
- Providing legal consultancy to domestic and international clients at the pre-litigation stage in various disputes related to law of obligations, commercial law, and administrative law.
- Providing consultancy services in the field of enforcement and bankruptcy law and preparing legal memoranda within this scope.
- Representing the client company in arbitration proceedings conducted before the International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) arising from a contractual penalty claim.
